After visiting Rafford Old Churchyard we could not find our great great grand parents stone. We found your helpful site, but alas still could not locate stone 051, Alexander Masson died 1877. Any info would be helpful.

Contacted privately. Stone(base only) in original position. Broken fragments of remainder of stone have been located in adjacent enclosure. Details in relevant MBGRG MI publication. Missing parts of inscription supplied by family members who recorded details when stone intact. |

What a lovely site. Thank you for all your hard work. I am particularly excited to see the reference* to an Elizabeth Tulidef in Elgin Cathedral. My great-grandmother was a Tilliduff. This name has now died out in UK, although there might still be a family in Australia. I have been unable to get back further than the death of a Robert Tilliduff in London in 1809. I have no information on where he was born. But I feel sure that this has to be another variant on the Tullideph/Tillydaff et al. spelling.
