  The MBGRG is pleased to announce the appointment of Betty C Willsher MBE, as our new Honorary President. Mrs Willsher inspired us all with her very informative talk "Thinking of Gravestones" at the Group AGM, and her future input and extensive expertise will be of great value to us all, and we are delighted to have her 'on board'.  
March 12th Group Logo  
  There has been a slight modification to the MBGRG Logo (taken from an isolated table-stone end, found at  Bellie Churchyard), with the addition of some appropriate text, derived from a 1571 tombstone from Alves. This logo is now used on all correspondence, and on the group sweatshirts.

The Old Scots text translates as
